DR D RINDOS

Professor Oxnard has requested me to inform you of the outcome of his negotiations with a number of people with regard to Dr David Rindos.

1. As from 25 March 1991, and until further notice, Dr Rindos will be located in the Department of Geography, reporting to the Head of the Geography Department, Professor Michael Taylor.

2. Two PhD students will also be relocated in the Geography Department.

3. Professor Oxnard has agreed to the following:

a) The arrangement is budget neutral for Geography.

b) The arrangement in no way affects Geography's future staffing complement and replacement.

c) That the EFTSUs credited to Dr Rindos' teaching and supervision in Archaeology are not used in any way to adversely affect Geography staff/ student ratio or funding level.

d) All incidental and operating costs be covered by the Division.
