27 January 1994

Dear Ms. Gilbert,

The text of the "letter" on Aids Theory vs. Lawsuit that I submitted to you just over a week ago had rather careless final editing due to my being in a hurry to post it before going to a conference. Thus a few notes to myself or a colleague about certain points that should have been removed were left in. I have now tidied this and made a few other word improvements. I enclose the improved version.

Nothing has been changed of the old content or ideas, so if the original was already sent to a referee there is no need to worry. But needless to say I prefer this improved version to be the one published (and to go to the referee if necessary and still possible).

Yours sincerely,
[signed]
W. D. Hamilton
